As EVB’s president, Shane Ginsberg seamlessly melds strategy and style, leading the agency’s business and talent development and continually evolving the company to foster its growth beyond its digital roots. An experienced, multi-faceted ad man, Shane excels at business development, online marketing and brand building, website strategy and development, strategic consulting, client service, evangelism and so much more.
Not coincidentally, digital advertising was born in 1994, the same year that Shane started his advertising career at Organic in San Francisco. There, he worked on some of the first websites ever made, crafting marketing messages for the then-spanking new ad medium. This laid the foundation for Shane’s 20 years of experience on the Silicon Valley ad tech scene, where he has helped define the way agencies and brands connect with consumers in nontraditional media.
Following his first stint at Organic, Ginsberg launched Plastic, an interactive firm that was snapped up by Razorfish in 1998. As a founder of Razorfish’s key San Francisco offering, he oversaw more than 100 digital marketing partnerships with clients ranging from McKinsey to Microsoft. Shane also served as managing director for AKQA’s flagship office, leading client delivery for such brands as Nike, XBox and Visa, before returning to Organic for a 10-year stint as the agency’s VP of corporate development.
Shane has embraced his newly adopted hometown of Oakland, wholeheartedly experiencing all the charms and challenges the dynamic city throws his way. He’ll always buy you a drink at his favorite neighborhood dive bar after he leads your team to victory at the local trivia night.
